lovely friends & yum-town food

this is our friend, sara pedersen.  she was one of the first friends of burke's that i met when we started dating.  i was still a little bit fresh from the mission, and she had just put in her papers.  so, before she left we became great friends!  it was nice to spark such a good friendship with someone that had already known burke for a while.  she knew the dirt!  ;)   we had a lot of fun together, and i gave her what advice i could about being a sister missionary.  she returned home right after we got married.  the above picture is the first time that we have gotten to see her.  :)  i just can't say enough good about sara.  she's the type of person that makes everyone feel involved, loved, needed, happy, and sexy.  :)  she always boosts my self-esteem!  sara is one good person.  she lives in bountiful now - which is just awful.  but, i hope that we get to spend some more good time with her!  i wouldn't mind ALWAYS having sara around.
i have to put in a plug for one of our favorite little restaurants.  it's called, "las tarascas."  if you haven't been, go!  it is pure yummy.  if you mention that you've never been there, they usually give you a discount.  and, if you bring more new people, they'll give you another discount.  it is authentic mexican cuisine.  ("110% authentic," to be exact)!  their refried beans are to die for.  everything is great on the menu, and i especially love the chile relleno.  this amazing little place is found on university parkway, in the same shopping center as albertsons and pudding on the rice.  go and enjoy!  :)

Sara! Thanks for your comment on Casey and I's blog! We'd love to get together sometime. Your blog is precious. I don't think I've ever seen Burke look so happy. I am thrilled for the two of you! Isn't married life fabulous?
